As part of this studio hospitality design project, I designed the lobby and an ADA-compliant guest room for the Moxy Hotel in Virginia Beach, focusing heavily on accessibility requirements and hospitality standards. The project emphasized a detailed understanding of ADA guidelines, life-safety considerations, and the spatial needs of a boutique hotel environment. My lobby concept featured a bar inspired by the structure and flow of a boat hull, bringing a playful coastal influence to the brand’s energetic aesthetic. I developed plans, elevations, sections, and material specifications, ensuring that both public and private spaces were functional, inclusive, and experience-driven.
