Commercial Design
Created as part of a collaborative studio course, Mistrau reimagines a luxury fashion brand’s seventy-fifth anniversary through a pop-up experience set within the historic Pierre Cardin Quarry in Lacoste, France. This project explores the intersection of retail storytelling and spatial design, using the site’s carved stone landscape to frame a narrative of renewal and legacy. Designed as one of five interconnected pavilions, the Non-Leather Accessories space serves as an intimate showcase of craftsmanship, inviting guests to engage with jewelry, scarves, and fine accessories that embody the art of Provençal refinement. The design honors the brand’s origin as a protector against the region’s mistral winds, transforming that symbolism into a setting where materials, light, and form act as metaphors for preservation and transformation. Through intentional layering of textures and choreographed movement, Mistrau presents the accessories collection not simply as retail display, but as a sensory journey celebrating the enduring heritage and innovation of Provence.
