OLIVIA
Iām Olivia Brown, an interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that inspire calm, connection, and renewal. Growing up in the San Juan Islands, I was surrounded by the rhythms of the ocean, the beauty of the natural world, and the constant presence of boats and harbors. These experiences shaped my design philosophy and continue to influence how I approach interiors as places that impact our emotions, well-being, and sense of balance.
I recently graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where my capstone project focused on designing a luxury yacht as a digital detox retreat. This concept, called Serenemare, explored how biomimicry and biophilic design could transform yacht interiors into immersive environments for rest, reflection, and personal growth. Through thoughtful attention to materiality, natural light, acoustics, and spatial flow, my work demonstrates how interiors can act as restorative settings that blend luxury with mindfulness.
Beyond yacht interiors, I am deeply interested in hospitality design and how built environments can enhance human experience. I enjoy experimenting with materials ranging from fiber arts to sustainable finishes, and I find ways to bring those explorations into my design practice. My work is process-driven, conceptually grounded, and always guided by the belief that design should create more than beautiful spaces; it should cultivate well-being and connection.
